Bojin SYSTEM 2000 Orthopedic Power Tool BJ2104 Cranial Drill Attachment-Multifunctional
The BOJIN SYSTEM 2000 BJ2104 Cranial Drill Attachment is developed for controlled skull drilling and cranial perforation, using a 0-1100 rpm operating range to provide measured rotational movement during cranial access procedures, while its dedicated perforator configuration, quick cup-link connection and 360° positioning allow the surgical team to prepare the instrument according to the requirements of neurosurgical procedures.

Dedicated Cranial Drilling Function for SYSTEM 2000
The BJ2104 is a dedicated cranial drill attachment for the BOJIN SYSTEM 2000 multifunctional surgical power platform. Its primary role is cranial drilling and perforation, giving the system a specialized option for neurosurgical procedures that require preparation of an opening in the skull.
Because the BJ2104 is an attachment rather than a complete standalone handpiece, it can share the SYSTEM 2000 power unit with other surgical functions. This allows hospitals to configure the platform according to the procedure instead of using a separate motor system for every task.
0-1100 rpm for Measured Drilling
The BJ2104 is specified with a rotational speed range of 0-1100 rpm. This operating range provides a controlled drilling profile for procedures where steady instrument movement is preferred over high-speed milling.
The relatively moderate speed also helps distinguish this model from the SYSTEM 2000 cranial bur attachment, which is designed for much faster rotary operation. The two attachments therefore have different roles within the same product family.
Cranial Perforator Included
The BJ2104 configuration includes a cranial perforator. This gives the attachment a clearly defined role in cranial access procedures and avoids the need to source the primary perforation accessory separately.
The perforator should be used only with compatible equipment and according to the applicable instructions for use and surgical technique.
Designed for Cranial Access Procedures
The main purpose of the BJ2104 is to support cranial drilling and perforation work. A dedicated drilling attachment can simplify equipment preparation when the surgical team already knows that a cranial-access function will be required.
Its focused configuration also helps distinguish the instrument from general orthopedic drilling attachments that are intended for other types of bone preparation.

Quick Cup-Link Connection
The SYSTEM 2000 platform uses a quick cup-link attachment mechanism. This allows the compatible handpiece to be fitted with the BJ2104 as part of the modular setup.
For operating rooms that use several surgical attachments, a quick connection can make equipment changes more straightforward during preparation.
360° Rotating Attachment Position
The attachment interface supports 360° rotation, giving the operator additional freedom when setting the orientation of the cranial drill.
This can be useful when preparing the handpiece according to the surgical approach or when the working angle needs to be adjusted before the procedure begins.
A Clear Difference From the Cranial Bur
The SYSTEM 2000 offers both a cranial drill and a cranial bur attachment, but their operating characteristics are different.
The BJ2104 is listed at 0-1100 rpm and is supplied with a cranial perforator, making it the more specific choice for drilling and perforation. By comparison, the BJ2105 cranial bur is listed at up to 17,000 rpm and is intended for high-speed rotary milling.
This distinction makes it easier for hospitals and distributors to select the appropriate attachment according to the planned procedure.
