Cranial Milling Attachment for the SYSTEM 2000
The BJ2105 is a dedicated cranial bur attachment developed for the BOJIN SYSTEM 2000 multifunctional orthopedic power-tool platform. Its main purpose is high-speed rotary milling for cranial and neurosurgical applications.
As an attachment rather than a complete handpiece, the BJ2105 shares the SYSTEM 2000 motor platform with other surgical heads. This gives hospitals the option to use one common power unit for different procedures and select the cranial bur only when that function is needed.
High-Speed Rotary Performance
The BJ2105 is specified with a power output of at least 90 W and a rotational speed of up to 17,000 rpm. The high-speed drive is intended for rapid rotary movement during cranial milling and bone preparation.
The actual working result will depend on the selected bur, surgical technique and operating conditions. The stated operating range gives the attachment a clear role within the SYSTEM 2000 portfolio.
Designed for Cranial Bone Preparation

Quick Cup-Link Connection
The SYSTEM 2000 uses a quick cup-link attachment mechanism. This allows the compatible handpiece to be configured with the BJ2105 without replacing the complete motor unit.
For hospitals that use several surgical attachments, a quick connection can make the equipment setup more straightforward and reduce the need for multiple dedicated power units.
360° Attachment Positioning
The SYSTEM 2000 connection supports 360° rotation, allowing the operator to adjust the orientation of the attachment before use.
For cranial procedures, the preferred instrument angle may change according to the surgical approach and working position. The rotating interface provides additional freedom when setting up the handpiece.
A Different Role From the Cranial Drill
The SYSTEM 2000 includes both a cranial drill and a cranial bur attachment, but they are not intended to perform exactly the same task.
The cranial drill is listed at 0-1100 rpm and can be paired with a cranial perforator, while the BJ2105 is designed for high-speed rotary bur work at up to 17,000 rpm.
This distinction helps medical buyers select the attachment according to whether the procedure requires drilling or high-speed milling.
Cordless SYSTEM 2000 Platform
The main SYSTEM 2000 handpiece operates at 14.4 V and uses a 14.4 V, 1800 mAh NiMH battery. Two batteries are included in the listed standard handpiece configuration.
A battery-powered platform avoids the need for a direct power cable during use and can make instrument positioning less restrictive around the operating field.
